Local work, found locally.
Khoj Juntion is a local discovery platform for India. Every city has its own electricians, carpenters, shops, rooms to rent and things for sale — this is where you look for them, in your own city. And if you do that work, this is where people nearby find you.
Why we built it
In a smaller city, you still find a good workman by asking a neighbour, who asks their cousin. That works — until you are new to the area, or nobody you know has needed a carpenter recently.
Meanwhile that carpenter has no way to reach the hundred people nearby who will need him this month. He knows the work. He just cannot be found.
The big national sites do not solve this. They are built for metros, they list a shop two districts away as "near you", and a local worker cannot afford to appear on them.
We are building the opposite: small, local, and free for the person doing the work. We started with the cities we know, and we add more as they fill up.
How it works
Pick your city and the work you need. Every profile shows the worker's own rate, experience and area.
Start in our own chat. Open the phone number when you are ready — it is one tap, not hidden.
You settle the rate, the time and the work between yourselves. We do not step in, and we never hold your money.

Electricians, plumbers, carpenters, painters, mechanics — by city and by trade, with their own rate and experience.
Shops and services in your own city, with timings, address and what they actually sell.
Property, electronics, vehicles, furniture. Posting is free and a listing runs for 28 days.

How we try to keep it honest
A listing is not live the moment you press submit. A person looks at it first. It is slower, and it is why the site is not full of rubbish.
You talk to a seller in our own chat, so you do not hand your phone number to a stranger before you have decided to.
No form, no waiting for us. You can also report an account, so we can look at the whole pattern.
After 28 days a classified stops showing. You are not calling about a fridge that sold last spring.
We are not an agent and we never hold your money. Whatever you agree with the other person is between you two.
Who we are
Khoj Juntion is run by a small team in India. Small enough that when you write to us, one of the people who built the site reads it.
The idea is simple: work is local, so search should be local too. A city is added the moment its first listings arrive, so the map keeps growing.
It is still a work in progress, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise. If your city is not here yet, or a listing looks wrong, tell us. That is how this gets better.
